Vasona Creek Healthcare Center provides something unique: personalized and individualized care for each outpatient. Each patient is evaluated based upon his or her diagnosis, rehabilitation and personal goals. Our staff members take great satisfaction when patients improve their quality of life or gain their independence because of their rehab experience.
Many individuals in the community and prior inpatients come to our facility for physical, occupational and speech therapies in an outpatient setting. For some it’s a return for skilled services in a familiar and caring environment. An exceptional component of many of our patients’ care includes rehabilitation in our 30’x15’ and 4-feet deep heated therapeutic pool. Our therapists have specialized knowledge in designing programs to address balance, range-of-motion and muscle strengthening.
Land-based and aquatic therapy are especially effective for:

• Back pain/spinal disorders
• Joint replacement
• Post surgery recovery
• Parkinson’s disease
• Multiple sclerosis
• Arthritis
• Gait abnormalities/de-conditioned patient
• Cardiac care
• Chronic heart and respiratory conditions
Due to illness and/or injury, some patients may not have the ability or means to travel to our facility to continue their rehab services upon discharge. Therefore, to best meet the needs of each client, we provide free transportation to and from the facility in our wheelchair-accessible vans.
